Jesper Nielsen, bankdirektør i Danske Bank, skal det kommende år står i spidsen for Finanssektorens Arbejdsgiverforening (FA).
Det står klart efter, at arbejdsgiverforeningens bestyrelse onsdag konstituerede sig i forlængelse af foreningens ordinære generalforsamling.
”Jeg glæder mig meget til arbejdet. Det finansielle arbejdsmarked gennemgår i disse år en markant og meget spændende udvikling. Især ny teknologi sætter sit aftryk på sektoren og skaber helt nye muligheder for kunder, medarbejdere og virksomheder i finanssektoren. Jeg kan ganske enkelt ikke forestille mig et bedre tidspunkt at blive formand for FA end netop nu,” siger Jesper Nielsen.
Jesper Nielsen har været formand for FA siden april i år, hvor han afløste Henriette Fenger Ellekrog på posten. Hans første store opgave bliver at stå i spidsen for forhandlinger af nye overenskomster på vegne af FA’s medlemsvirksomheder, der tilsammen beskæftiger ca. 65.000 medarbejdere.
Overenskomstforhandlingerne starter umiddelbart efter årsskiftet.
