Unge bankkunder har et behov for at overskueliggøre deres opsparing. Det mener tre studerende fra IT-Universitet i København (ITU) på baggrund af nogle brugerundersøgelser, de har gennemført blandt unge. De har derfor brugt deres bachelorprojekt til at præsentere et konkret koncept i form af en brugervenlig applikation, der skal motivere unge til at spare op til konkrete formål.
Nu har Finanssektorens Arbejdsgiverforening (FA) kåret bachelorprojektet som årets bedste af sin slags. Udover æren udløser prisen en kontantpræmie på 30.000 kr. til de tre bachelorer fra ITU.
”Prisen er en kæmpe cadeau til os. Vi har lagt mange timer i projektet, og vi synes selv, at det er et godt projekt vi har lavet. Det giver naturligvis ekstra selvtillid, at andre også anerkender vores projekt,” fortæller 23-årige Regitze Breddal Puck, der har skrevet projektet sammen med Amalie Talli Panton Martelli (25) og Julie Freudendahl (24).
”Prisen skal helt klart på cv’et. Det er et stort plus, når vi senere skal ud på arbejdsmarkedet og søge job,” tilføjer Amalie Talli Panton Martelli.
”Der sker meget i bankerne”
Konkret har de tre ITU-studerende gennemført forskellige brugerundersøgelser og derigennem fundet frem til, at der er et behov hos unge danskere for en opsparingsapplikation. Derfor har de som led i deres bachelorprojekt udviklet et koncept i form af applikationen ’SaveUp´, som netop er målrettet 18-29-årige.
”Vi valgte at skrive bachelorprojekt om finanssektoren, fordi det er en interessant sektor, hvor den teknologiske udvikling løber hurtig og er kompleks,” fortæller Regitze Breddal Puck.
Julie Freudendahl supplerer:
”Som ITU-studerende er vi naturligvis meget interesserede i den teknologiske udvikling. Og der sker meget i bankerne på det område, eksempelvis i forhold til betalingsservice og nye muligheder for selvbetjening. Så det er en spændende sektor.”
De tre forklarer, at applikationens formål ikke blot er at engagere målgruppen til at spare mere op, men også at hjælpe de unge med at skabe sig et overblik over deres økonomi. Samtidig er applikationen en mulighed for bankerne til at kapre nye kunder, mener de studerende. Et stort dansk pengeinstitut har da også vurderet det færdige projekt som værende en realistisk forretningsmodel.
En sektor i konstant bevægelse
Kåringen af projektet fandt sted ved den årlige IT-konference, Finance IT Day, som IT-Universitet i København og FA står bag. Det var Mariane Dissing, adm. direktør i FA, som overrakte de tre studerende prisen.
”Finanssektoren er en af landets mest innovative sektorer. Det er en sektor, der er i konstant bevægelse mod nye ideer, som gør livet lettere for kunderne. Amalie, Julie og Regitzes idé om en applikation, der skal hjælpe unge med at spare op til konkrete formål, rammer midt i skiven. Det er ganske enkelt en rigtig god idé,” udtaler Mariane Dissing, og fortsætter:
”Men ikke nok med det. Amalie, Julie og Regitze formår ydermere i deres bachelorprojekt at gøre deres idé både konkret og håndgribelig, fordi de gennemgående har et kommercielt og kundeorienteret fokus. Og derfor skal de naturligvis modtage vores bachelorpris. Nu håber vi bare, at de i deres karriere vil søge ind i finanssektoren.”
Der går dog endnu lidt tid, inden de tre ITU-studerende for alvor træder ud på arbejdsmarkedet. Regitze Breddal Puck, Amalie Talli Panton Martelli og Julie Freudendahl læser nemlig de næste par år på deres kandidatuddannelse. De læser alle tre på linjen Digitalt Design og Kommunikation på IT-Universitet i København.
I alt var syv ITU-bachelorprojekter indstillet til prisen som årets bachelorprojekt.

Det var et enigt dommerpanel, der pegede på projektet ”Digital Concept Development within the Banking Industry Focusing on Young Adults” som årets vinderprojekt. Panelet bestod af:
